Supplied Air Solutions - C40 Climate Control Device

The C40 Climate Control Device is a belt mounted air regulator and temperature control unit for the RPB Z-Link Metal Spray Helmets. This unit allows the user to cool incoming air by up to 29oC or heat it by 18oC, as well as increase the flow of air coming into the respirator, increasing comfort, productivity and safety. It also features a swivel air inlet fitting.

The supplied air and air monitoring range gives users confidence in the air they breathe.

Detecting toxic gases, filtering the air supply, and controlling supplied air temperatures removes safety concerns and discomfort, enabling users to sustain a higher level of performance for longer.

Features & Benefits

The C40 heats and cools supplied air to suit your environment. Cool incoming air by up to 29oC or heat it by up to 18oC or any range in between, simply by sliding the lever.

  • Easily control your temperature with the slide of a lever.
  • Air inlet swivels to 360o to sit comfortably on your hip.
  • Made from lightweight, robust materials (weighs 329g including belt).
  • The C40 increases your safety and comfort, by keeping you at your optimum temperature, so you don't suffer heat exhaustion or chilling.
  • Exhausted air in directed away from your body, eliminating the need for a heat shield.
  • The C40 consumes approximately 20-25CFM to operate. 10-14CFM goes to the operator and approximately 10CFM is expelled out the front vent. This is how a vortex cooler separates the hot and cold air.
